You have to know that before applying this settings, i found 2-3 Wi-Fi networks in my house. But after this settings I found 5 Networks. But phone using more energy with this settings and it decreases your battery life. You can apply this somewhere you have to catch wi-fi networks
Home** is my own Wireless network. Before signal quality was %62 and it rised to %75. I tested it very carrefully. I waited 5 minutes to get best results;)
Let’s do it!
Go to Menu> Tools> Settings
Select Connection> Wireless LAN
Options > Advanced Settings
Disable Auto Conf.
You may disable Power Saving but it will spend your battery more faster!!
Now you can catch more WLANs :)! or Can get more signal!
I just went from 60% to 70% on my E65
These are the default settings on my N95, so no improvement here
Actually I need to leave powersaving off to be able to receive data (even on latest 12.0.013 firmware) - bummer

You might want to try out updating the firmware of your wireless router. Some wireless routers have problems with phones using the power saving feature and just need a firmware upgrade to get them to work together

I notice you have VPN listed as an option on your handset.. do you know if this came with the latest (V12) firmware? I’m running v11.0.026 and i dont see that option.

I need a VPN software for my NOKIA N95 where i can run applications like TRUPHONE from www.truphone.co.uk coz the applicaiton cannot work in this country where i am where VoIP services are blocked so a VPN session can work that out or ANy solution u can provide, all of you on the forums PLEASE HELP !!!

WOW!!! this is great, I could see 1-2 APs from my home, now I can see like 10. And my connection to 1 was like 63%, now it is almost 80% (77-81)

I see indeed that when you disable the the power saving it get a little bit better but not that much.
I got an E90 (with latest firmware) and the signal strength was 42%, with power saving off it went up to 47-50.
But what about the other options, what else can be adjusted to improve the wifi?
my e70 always search no wlan network, even tough i’m near the server. whY? does my e70 wifi config wrong or whatelse, since i bought it 4 months ago, i never gained any wlan signal. i don’t know why, could it be that the wifi version not compatible? thx.
